Lefse Time - an illustrative infographic recipe
Making lefse has become a pre-Thanksgiving tradition with my family… mostly since it requires at least a family to make it and then eat it all! If you’ve read this far, you probably already know what lefse is, but nevertheless… It’s a Norwegian flatbread made of potatoes and cooked on a large round griddle (I like to call it the Tortilla of the North). The lefse-maker-extraordinaire in my family is, no surprise, my mother, whose exquisite hands are featured in this illustration. Every recipe varies, so this painting follows our own house rules.
Great gift for Scandinavian (lefse is popular in Norway and Sweden), Norwegian or Norse people! Fun art print for a kitchen, especially when paired with my "krumkake" and "kransekake" recipe illustrations.
This is an unframed archival print on high-quality matte paper. Watermark is not included on the physical print.
