Beginning in the fall of 2015, I've been a art contributor to Live in Everett through "Sketchy Everett" - a visual exploration of the city I live in! These prints are some of my favorites from the blog.
I draw on site as much as I can, to capture not just the place, but the people and pace. Starting with a waterproof Ink pen, I draw my scene in about an hour. Then I use watercolors to bring in color and playfulness. This scene is from Everett station, the seat of our transit systems in our city.
This is a print on archival matte paper. Every print size includes a generous two inches of border so that the print can fit right into a standard frame and be ready to hang!
Keep checking back for more local scenes...I'm committed to exploring Everett's 'sketchiness' from sunup to sundown. Check out the whole series at LiveinEverett.com (www.liveineverett.com/blog?tag=sketchy+Everett)
