Scotland // Alba
Scotland's cultural exports to the world seem disproportionately large for a small smattering of lochs, highlands, minches and firths located in the north of the Great Britain. From whisky, kilts, bagpiping and golf to much more.
The illustrated map highlights the geological features of the island, highlighting each county and its local authority. All 32 "council areas" (counties/shires) are shown, as well as major towns like Edinburgh and Glasgow, island grouping like the Shetlands and Orkney Islands and Outer Hebrides, as well as features like the highlands and Scottish thistle. Major lochs and rivers are identified as well.
I created this piece with ink and watercolor, and hand draw it - no small task! It's an ideal gift for the Scot in your life, or anyone with Scottish or Celtic heritage or an affinity for this beautiful country.
This is an unframed archival print on high-quality matte paper. Watermark is not included on the physical print.
