Issaquah Alps // Archival Print
The "Issaquah Alps" are foothills of the Cascade Range of Washington State. Nicknamed in the 70s, they include: Rattlesnake Mountain, Taylor Mountain, Tiger Mountain, Squak Mountain and Cougar Mountain. Mount Si is their neighbor to the east. These peaks are prominently viewed from I-90, the interstate that cuts roughly East/West from Seattle to Spokane. Criss-crossed with incredibly popular trails, this area is full of unique hikes and huge views including Poo Poo Point, Little Si, Rattlesnake Ridge and Coal Creek Falls. For more info, check out the Issaquah Alps Trails Club at issaquahalps.org that advocates for this swath of public land.
The perspective is as if you are driving east on Interstate 90, looking south.
This piece took me as long to research as to create! I combed through hiker blogs, topographic maps, Google Earth and USGS maps to piece together this unique view. Great mountain art and peak identifier chart for the outdoor and nature lover from the Eastside (the I-405 corridor of Bothell, Woodinville, Kirkland, Redmond, Bellevue, Issaquah and Sammamish).
This is an unframed archival print on high-quality matte paper. Watermark is not included on the physical print.
Print Sizes:
15x5" - includes a 0.25" border
All other sizes include about a 1" border
Board Mounted Option:
An archival print permanently mounted on a piece of 3/8" thick MDF wood and sealed with a UV-protected coating and painted black on the edges. Pre-drilled area for hanging on the back. No need to frame a print because the board mounted print is ready to hang! Manufactured in the USA.
Framing Note: 8x24" and 12x36" are standard size frames. Panoramic frames are available in the collage frame section (take out the pre-cut mat) in many frame & craft shops. To frame the 15x5" size I recommend finding a standard size, off-the-rack frame (like a 10x20") and mounting it on acid-free paper or having a custom mat cut, if necessary. Or, you can easily order a custom size frame online.
