The Cascade Volcanoes of Washington - an illustrative infographic
Here they are... the BIG BOYS of the Cascade Mountain Range in Washington: Mount Baker, Glacier Peak, Mount Rainier, Mount Adams, Mount St. Helens! The Cascade Mountains are a chain of volcanoes that stretch all the way from British Columbia to Northern California. Each volcano peak is identified by a portrait, elevation, coordinates and location within Washington State. You might be happy to know that the USGS Current Volcano Alert Level (at the time of this writing) is: NORMAL. A relief, right?
The piece also features four tree species native to the area: Western Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Sitka Spruce, and Western Red Cedar.
Ideal gift for a climber, hiker, or generally outdoorsy Pacific Northwest type!
