The Gallatin Range - Archival Print
The Gallatin Range lies just south of Bozeman, Montana. It's part of the gigantic Rocky Mountain range. I picked a common view for locals who are out for a hike - Hyalite Lake (Reservoir) and Flander's Wall in the foreground with a a glorious peek-a-boo view of several of the peaks in the Hyalite subrange. All the prominent peaks of this part of the range are identified with name and elevation, including Hyalite Peak, Palace Butte, Mt Bole, Elephant Mountain and Blackmore Peak. Alex Lowe Peak was renamed to honor a local, world class mountaineer who died in 1999.
To create this piece, I worked with a Bozeman resident and hiker who provided local information and photos. I also combed through hiker blogs, Google Earth, and USGS maps to pull together this view.
This is an unframed archival print on high-quality paper.
Print Sizes:
15x5" - includes a 0.25" border
24x8" - includes about a 1" border

60x20" - includes a 1" border
Board Mounted Option:
An archival print permanently mounted on a piece of 3/8" thick MDF wood and sealed with a UV-protected coating and painted black on the edges. Pre-drilled area for hanging on the back. No need to frame a print because the board mounted print is ready to hang! Manufactured in the PNW.
Framing Note: 8x24" and 12x36" are standard size frames. Panoramic frames are available in the collage frame section (take out the pre-cut mat) in many frame & craft shops. To fram the 5x15" size. I recommend finding a standard size, off-the-rack frame (like a 10x20") and mounting it on acid-free paper or having a custom mat cut, if necessary. Or, order a custom size frame online.
