Kitsap Peninsula
Branching off the massive Olympic Peninsula of Washington State, the Kitsap Peninsula is a complex bit of geography. Home to hundreds of thousands of people, it boast the major towns of Poulsbo, Bremerton, Port Orchard, and Gig Harbor. Major waterways like the Hood Canal, Case Inlet, Carr Inlet, and Colvos Passage sorround and connect the peninsule to nearby regions. Washington State Ferries connect Kingston to Edmonds, Bremerton to Seattle, and Fauntleroy (West Seattle) to Southworth.
On this detailed map I included as much information as possible. Rivers and lakes are labeled as well as cities and census designated places. Lighthouses, airports and ports are indicated with symbols. Ferry sailing routes and destinations are included. Key landmarks are highlighted like major highways. And significant islands like Bainbridge, Vashon, Anderson, Harstine, Whidbey are all included.
Great reference map and gift for anyone who lives in the Pacific Northwest, especially sailors who need a beautiful nautical style map!
On the original, I used waterproof ink and watercolor to create the painting. The watermark is not included on the print.
This is an archival print on high-quality matte paper.
