Leavenworth, WA Map // Archival Print
In the heart of the Washington State's Central Cascades lies an enchanted Bavarian village that'll have you dreaming in German. It's wünderbar! I'd like to "willkommen" the latest piece to my collection: a stylized map of Leavenworth, Washington — where even the local Starbucks and 76 Gas Station are Bavarian themed with hand-painted signs in old-style fonts. Whether you plan to visit Leavenworth for Oktoberfest, Christmastown or just a bite of schnitzel, it's also the gateway to a number of fantastic alpine hikes, including the famed Enchantment Mountains, which are so popular that hikers enter a lottery to camp among the region's pristine lakes and white rocks.
Leavenworth is just east of Stevens Pass, one of the major mountain passes in the state that connect the eastern and western sides of Washington via Highway 2.
Highlights include Oktoberfest, Autumn Leaf Festival, heaps of winter snow, weekend Christmas Tree lightings, breweries and wineries aplenty, bird watching, access to skiing, snowmobiling and sledding, Maifest and all the alpenhorns and nutcrackers you could desire!
This is an unframed archival print on high-quality matte paper. Watermark is not included on the physical print.
