Guemes Island Map Illustration
Guemes Island is a small island located in the Salish Sea of NW Washington State, just a short ferry ride away from Anacortes. In the past 100 years, it has only had THREE ferries which run every day multiple times per day between the island and mainland!
I've loved exploring this island and hope I've brought it to life for both residents and visitors. I researched the island geography through at least a dozen different channels, from USGS maps to locally created pamphlets.
